Coleman Senn: I reccommend Asian Eye Institute in Rockwell Makati. Consultation for an Specialist there is surprisingly cheap~Php 600.00.They give quality optical care. When they reccommend you to get glasses with grade you have an option to buy it outside.
Hwa Waterford: You don't go to the optician to correct your vision. first of all, Optician does not prescribed correction glasses they only dispensed glasses or lens to you.If you are young it is normal that your vision changes, mot teenager's vision changes every 6 months. I suggest you go to an Optometrist, they will check your eyes for vision if you needed glasses, they will also do a thorough eye health exam and if they see any problem then they will recommend if you need to see an ophthalmologist....Show more
Leticia Laiben: you might need to see an opthalmologist and not an optician or optometrist.
Brian Marquina: Our vision is very important so it is very advisable to go to an eye doctor (ophth! almologist) to get yours checked. Opticians and optometrists basically just measure and dispense eye glasses and contact lenses, but they won't be able to tell you if your eyes have a particular problem that may be causing blurred vision or other difficulties with your vision. So better safe than sorry, go to an ophthalmologist. I would personally recommend Dr. Conrado Banzon, either Senior or Junior at UST hospital. Dr. Banzon, Sr. was my doctor while I was still in the Philippines. New patients pay 500 pesos, less when they go back for a consultation later on. Later on you can buy your glasses or contacts at an optical shop different from the one they have in house. Almeda Optical was the cheapest optical shop I found back in 2006....Show more
