Damion Oleksa: Cedar point in Sandusky, oh, or carowinds in Charlotte, nc. Both are great if you are looking for thrills and both have many record breaking rides. Cedar point has more rides and is located on an island in Lake Erie, but Sandusky is a pretty sketchy area, but you will be fine if you stay in the cedar point resort. Carowinds is on the border of north and South Carolina, so some rides go through both states. There is also a ton of other stuff to do in Charlotte, including the white water center and historical sites. There will be much longer lines at cedar point though. Also, six flags parks aren't as nice as these and they are filled with advertisements...Show more
