Carmelina Enoch: Vans are actually quite a good car, my dad owns a van that he brought years ago, some minor issues but after all its good.
Victor Macallister: Give us more details.Give us what you intend to use the van for.Give us your budget.Give us your mileage and year of the vehicle you are interested in......Show more
Coy Tapley: No, some are very good and dependable, as well as, all others.
Nona Lentini: "THEY" can "say" whatever they want to.I prefer to base my statements on FACTS.As for dependability & reliability: J.D. Powers & Assoc. studied millions of vehicles. Their study (which they conduct every year) involves vehicles that have been on the roas for 3 years and calculates how many service visits or problems each manufacturer has. Their most recent study (of model year 2003 vehicles) just released in August 2006, proves that Ford, Lincoln & Mercury ALL are ABOVE the industry average. So obviously they are NOT the worst vehicles you can pur! chase. I will list all 37 manufacturers (in order of their dependability, best being #1 , worst being #37) according to FACTS rather than biased OPINIONS .1 Lexus2 MERCURY3 Buick4 Cadillac5 Toyota6 Acura7 Honda8 Jaguar9 BMW10 Infinity11 LINCOLN12 FORD13 Oldsmobile14 Chrysler15 Pontiac16 Subaru17 GMC18 Mercedes-Benz19 Chevrolet20 Nissan21 Mazda22 Porsche23 Hyundai24 Dodge25 Mitsubishi26 Jeep27 Volvo28 Audi29 Mini30 Isuzu31 Saturn32 Volkswagon 33 Hummer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(not reliable)34 Kia35 Suzuki36 Saab37 Land RoverAlso some FACTS you might take into consideration:* Henry Ford revolutionalized the entire automobile manufacturing process & if it weren't for this there probably wouldn't be all these other manufacturers.* Ford F-Series Trucks have been the best selling trucks in America for 29 consecutive years.* Ford was the 1st manufacturer to produce Flex-Fuel vehicles (1995) and has more alternative fuel vehicles on the road than any other manufacturer.* Ford still has elec! tric vehicles on the road (GM destroyed theirs) (again FACT--! see the documentary movie, "Who Killed The Electric Car ?)* Ford has electric mail carrier trucks in use in California.* Ford-1st manufacturer to produce hydrogen fueled vehicles in the U.S. (in use in Florida)* Ford- 1st full hybrid SUV (also the most fuel efficient suv on the road) Hybrid Escape. So you ask for TRUTH.There you have it. I could go on ........or you could continue to listen to what "they" say...................I prefer to trust FACTS...Show more
Brock Anwar: Every vehicle has a problem or more. I have owned Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Toyota and VW. Dodge electronics nickle and diming me (airbag controler caught fire, switches don't work, Wiper motors etc.....GEO Prism (by GM and Toyota, like corola) - Everytime battery died, had to replace alternator because it burnt out due to excessive load. Honda tranny grinded real loud in cold weather, (mech said drive until it drives no more) suspension parts extreamly expensiveFord truck brake lines rusted, h! eater relay rusts up and only gets 1 speed,VW frame rusted in 5 years, went to scrapSo other new corola, every car has seen problems. by the way, my mom bought a new corola, at 7500 miles, she had a wheel bearing failure, so I think since cars are made by human, they willl have flaws. check consumer reports for best average info though.Mike...Show more
Bryant Chaudhry: Anything large, maroon, and windowless is perfect in my opinion.
Ayesha Genova: It all depends, their quality isn't the most stable. You can still find a good one amongst the bad and vice versa. If you are car savvy and have a garage to fiddle with it, by all means. If not, would be a safer bet to go with either a Japanese or german car.
Anibal Scheid: I hate to say it, but american made cars quality, is still not there. We buid them too fast. we average thousands put together a day, while our foreign competitors put a thousand together by the end of the month. that leaves not much time t! o "qaulity check" the vehicle, before it gets sold.
Frederick Mcc! oach: Seems so lately, they had 2 major recalls within a year, for their trucks. Millions of them each time.
Stevie Kizziar: Everyone has their oppinion, depends on how you take care of your car! if you take care of y our car you are going to get many many miles of trouble free driving. If you gas and go....that says it all! I think ethol said it all!
Malcom Bourek: That would be the top ten cars. See site for the vehicles & prices.
Antonia Quinnett: Whether in Aussie land or whatever, I think that people have believed since the '50s that once a car got to 50k miles, it was pretty well shot...and so it was, back then. People don't realize that with the advances in technology in engines, oils, fluids, etc, that nowadays a car can be driven for 200K miles or more. I think it's a holdover stereotype from earlier cars.
Gabriel Realmuto: F.ix O.rR.epairD.ailyjapanese cars are better and need less maintance good luck...Show more
Rosalia Hibler: how! is the dodge carvan?
Shon Almquist: I dont get it? doesnt matter how hight the kays are on a car its still driveable, some people are so picky in this world & im sick of it, i have a VX berlina commodore series ll model 2001 & im trying to sell it but its done 200thousand kays, & people are just knocking it back because of the kays? i dont get it though, why does that matter & turn people off? i meen. . . . people drive places the kays will go up, its as simples as that, it doesnt meen that the car is stuffed so why do people care about that & bother even asking? can someone please tell me why? im never going to sell my car unless i put another dash in it that has lower kays :p heheheheheehehehehehe then they wont know :DIm in Australia btw !!!...Show more
Caryl Mclaen: I believe that. I would not have one. I like Toyotas and Honda's myself...
Coleman Deliberato: I think the Ford trucks are better. You see lots of those on the road years later. The car! s I know for sure aren't that dependable.
Raye Tredennick: i am l! ooking to buy a used van ..which company sells the best vans .if you have a van does it work? or break down ?all the time. i have a car it seems to need alot of work all the time, i went through ford .. so i really dont want to buy another ford again.
Tana Dumoulin: Provide links with pictures and prices please.
Lita Thammorongsa: I never had any good luck with Ford products............ maybe that's why they say.....Fix Or Repair Daily F O R D"O" Wise One............. says so...Show more
Armanda Hertel: The older they are the worst they are for being stolen /going wrong & going rusty !!!!!!!!!!!!
Jannie Ariola: Yes, especially there trucks, they jump to much. Go with chevy or Toyota. DONT GO WITH FORD THEY SUCK
Bennie Lantgen: if you have a van and it workd for years what was it?and i plan to spend about 6g's tops
Carmina Stickney: I really like the style and capacity of chevy's but I know fr! om my sister being Ford only for 25 years that Ford are more reliable and stable than most makes of vehicles.
Dulcie Edis: These days it really dosen't matter, but people still thank if it over 100 thousand miles that the motor is on it's last leg and that they wont get much use out of it before it blows up.
Ulrike Hert: No, FORD is WORSE than you've heard. Our family owned 5 FORDs and they were all CRAP. Imagine stalling in the middle of the road with only 10,000 miles on a brand new car. Tranmission blowing at around 50,000 miles and everything else breaking before 100,000 miles. If that isn't bad enough, FORD dealers are crooks. They would never fix the problem correctly, just fix something else that we didn't need and charge us a fortune. I'm fortunate that my first car was a Chevy. It was actually very reliable until 120k miles when I sold it. We actually had good luck with GM products. As for Dodge.... just as bad as FORD. Recently bought a RAM truck and af! ter only 3000 miles needed to rebuild the engine. But the best are Honda! and Toyota. My second car was an Acura and it was so reliable. Never had a single problem for 50,000 miles when I traded it in for an Accord. Since then, my family has only bought Japanese cars. None of them has ever had any engine or transmission problems. Not perfect but hell of a lot better than FORDs.We will NEVER buy another FORD again. Only Japanese. And to the person who says buying Japanese is bad because profit goes to Japan... WRONG. While domestics are laying off workers and moving plants to Canada and Mexico, Japanese are opening more and more plants in the USA and hiring more Americans. There are over 100,000 Americans working due to the Japanese. Koreans are also opening more plants in the USA. So the rhetoric "Buy American" has far different meaning than in the past....Show more
Rubi Romo: yes it is true
Rosio Pasculli: yea they suck, i like dodge
Gordon Showes: Actually, Ford as with any other vehicle will last you depending on how well yo! u take care of it. They have a good service life providing you give it good service. Everyone has their opinion, but Ford is one of the better vehicles you can buy. I say that because I dont see as many come in for repairs like chevy, dodge, and many foreign makes. The most that I Ford's is that they come in for regular service such as oil changes, tire rotation and balance, and so forth. When you buy foreign made vehicles, you are basically giving your money to foreign countries, and yes, they are dependable, but when they do break down, it hits you really hard and most of the repair parts can only be found at a dealership parts department. So no, it is not true what they say about Fords,...Show more
Christy Tirabassi: YES YES YES YES
Carter Dewater: Yes. FORD means Found On Road Dead.
Barrett Felicia: Wow.I hope you don't talk like this.
Isreal Kochheiser: Uhhhh, no..... that would be GEO.GO VW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nicola! sa Henke: Dodge Grand Caravan. It's a great car..it's never broken down ! in the past 5 years.
Lynn Melbourne: FORD = Found on road dead ****** old recycled datsen Fix Or Repair Daily.Thats all I know... ford is slowly going out of buisness caues they have crappy unsafe cars/trucks. Best to stick with Dodge....Show more

Marna Liddie: Hi. I used to have an older Dodge Caravan. No get up and go, no power. Now I have an older Chrysler Town and Country. Very nice, loads of power but it sucks gas like crazy. So maybe some other kind would be better.
