Sharee Doak: To be completely sure, take your car to a reputable mechanic and have him/her do an inspection on the vehicle to be sure anything that looks like a potential problem is taken care of. Otherwise, it sounds to me like it should handle it just fine.
Danyell Rowback: it should have no problem, I commute from NJ to southern Tennessee for college, 800 mile drive, and i have driven crap cars most of the time, i currently have '90 volvo with 240k miles on it and bad maintenance and it handles the trip fine, i once took the trip in a vw golf that ran on 3 cylinders for half the trip....i have faith in you pt cruiser :)
