what is the proper height above stair tread for hand rail?

Filiberto Amauty: Stair Railing Height

Bethanie Menden: Duplicolor lacquer.

Julienne Poplawski: That'd work well mate, (I didn't think of that, though not sure how long it'd last being exposed to the elments) at the top and bottom dig a channel and secure/pin each end under ground and cover back up, make sure you stretch it taught as you can, if you want it to have high sides you can build up the ground under either side with soil or sand or anything available, (if you do make spoil or sand high sides make the vinyl wide enough to cover the whole hump) (if cash isn't a problem you could build a timber frame) use microfiber cloth pads as sleds...Show more

Branden Round: it doesnt matter . it depends on her . but go 3 inches above her wast line .

Sammie Bocanegra: Handrail Height On Stairs

Esmeralda Pigram: The bike is already painted I'm going to sand it but I don't know what is a good primer for it? It is going to be the rims and the frame.

Toshia Metzker: well almost any metal primer works but the best are the self etching ones cause they adhere the best. wear a respirator though if your gonna be handling it because its organic vapors.

Gennie Shauer: 32 ''

Anton Waln: 32 inches from nose of tread international bldg. code.

Houston Venezia: I used it for several weeks before it started hiccupping like air in the lines.

Elissa Curlin: 85-90 cm by DIN 18065.

Derrick Smsith: I want to make a big, dry slip n slide down a slight grassy hill near my pool. How should I go about doing this using vinyl flooring?

Renay Billiar: Rust Ollenum Jo Ann

Judie Kise: there are a couple of things you should know! and a easy way to lay out your railings and make them Parallel with the stairs take the short side of your framing square and span the bottom 2 treads and mark the top against the wall do the same at the top 2 treads and mark the wall now connect the two lines that represe! nts the bottom of the rail and should put your rail at 32" and! Parallel with the stairs code also requires you to return the rail to wall at top and bottom as not to catch clothing, pocket books, robes and such on the end of the railing that has caused many to get hooked on the rail and fall also per code is the diameter they no longer allow large rails that you cannot get your hand around, the oval railings are as big as you can go i have also found the large round rail brackets with the large single screw in the center to be the strongest...Show more

Mack Ukich: For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/avtsGThe norm is stain and polyurethane for the hand rail, and paint (usually white) for the ballusters. Paint on a handrail turns black, and wears too quickly. Stain/poly is a much classier way to finish it. On the stairs, stain/poly the treads, paint the riser boards. You can always paint over the stain/poly if you don't like it. But it's an extreme job to strip the paint if want to stain/poly after....Show! more

Percy Seiger: Air in the line will cause that. Open several faucets and let the air bleed out.

Emilie Santmyer: Handrail Height

Monroe Rainey: TRY ONE OF THOSE RUBBER CIRCULAR SLEDS. THERE''S NOTHING TO DO BUT ENJOY YOURSELF.

Debora Soliani: This is a new Danze unit. The water presure is very low and now it's started hiccuping like there is air in the line. What could it be?

Jodie Capella: visit the Lowe's or the HoDepot and chat with the paint center captain and gfet the correct shade of primer that will help you get the top coat done and to look good === discuss the spray paint techniques that get you a professional result == for me ,,, it is .. hold the can at least 12inches away from the object you are priming and same with the top coat === the primer and the top coat must dry overnight between each very thin light coat of paints === check the primer for grit or imperfections and sand if necessary ....... going slow and multiple th! in sprays of canned paint will result in a good finish if YOU TAKE THE ! TIME TO Do It rite............Show more

Hong Hunkin: Turn on more faucets to let the presure out. Also check the showerhead and make sure that there is no dirt or sediment in the aerator. Also check the main valve to your houe and make sure nobody tampered with it.danze should have an 800 number for those kind of questions and they can help you troubleshoot it....Show more

Nestor Klan: Use "krylon fusion" it will bind to anything and is a great primer!

Norris Rosener: I suggest you used a grey spray can primer. Mike

Gwenda Micheals: I want it to completely d! ry (I do NOT want to use soap, baby oil, baby shampoo, or water because when the wood drys you could get splinters and I don't want that but, I DO want to use smooth, Matte-finish, dry, vinyl flooring and fold and roll the edges under the flooring to work and protect against cuts and scrapes.) and have the slide in a shaded area (trees, etc.).

Esmeralda Pigram: it can be anywhere from 34" to 38" straight up from the nosing of the tread. if you get conflicting answers here, you can call your local building inspector and ask for an absolute answer.

Loriann Carrigan: Regarding Best Answer: Tread means tread. Don t use the upper floor as one of the two stops for your framing square. Drop down one step. The first and last steps of a stairway are the ones most likely to be a different height from the rest.
