Registration of guns same as cars?

Stanton Degregorio: Owning or having a car is a privilege. Owning or having a firearm is a right.

Brice Greczkowski: i dont think so, ive never heard of him saying that

Frank Crummell: A car gives you zero political power, unlike a weapon such as a gun. BQ: I have nothing to hide, but I'm not registering anything. Not while government can do like they did in New York and release the information under FOIA requests.

Esteban Lyson: There is a very significant difference. When you asked for a drivers license you signed something promising to obey all the terms and provisions of the vehicle code of your State. You are exercising a privilege. A "license" is permission to do something which would otherwise be unlawful. On the other hand, the 2nd amendment guarantees a natural Right which preexisted the organization of the State. That unalienable Right shall not be infringed.See the difference?BQ: What sort of private property I own is none of the governmen! t's business. Doesn't Roe vs Wade reinforce another natural Right I have, which is privacy?...Show more

Lupe Sancen: Back ground checks, are good, but wouldn't have saved the 26 lives in New Town.Gun Safety would have. Lock up your weapons. Secure the key.

Carlton Lastrapes: You know I am a gun owner and honestly would not care if I had to register it. If the Government ever wanted to confiscate guns I know that my six shooter would be no defense against tanks and drones, and misilles and all the other power they could bring in order to achieve that goal. That said I have no desire to see registration come into play. Your argument is simple and straight forward but prhaps a bit too simple. After all more people are killed every single year by automobiles than in any year by guns. Isn't that odd? Maybe cars should be confiscated huh?...Show more

Sonya Volcko: It's not that gun owners fear having their guns registered, it's just that that would be th! e first step in taking away our 2nd Amendment right. It's like! the old saying "you give them and inch and they take a mile". Do you realize that if we would have to register every gun that maybe some people wouldn't be able to afford that. I have a few firearms and I have worked my butt off to save the money up to buy them. Should I have to surrender my firearms because I can't afford to register them all?...Show more

Melissa Lavallie: He is a notorious drunk, he beat his wife and he psychologically abused his 11 year old daughter. He has been in a powerful position in Hollywood since the 80s. I think it is only a matter of time before a victim speaks up. What do you think?

Delmer Pectol: The guy is a major Leftist douchebag, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is a sexual predator.

Angelyn Ducas: Noas a matter of factRight wingers were bellyaching about money in the stimulus for Aids TOOseems like they don't want anyone healthy !...Show more

Donny Bankson: i don't comprehend any gun vendors who oppose regi! stering weapons and that i stay in Alaska the place almost anybody has one. If there is an opposition to registration then it somewhat is by using the fact the government might comprehend the place each and all of the weapons are in the form that it would ever attempt to confiscate them from the persons. This has surpassed off in different international locations. this is going to by no potential ensue right here through fact we've the consitutional perfect to undergo hands so as that we'd preserve ourselves and overthrow an oppressive government....Show more

Anton Waln: The whole idea is absurd - you have to register your car so it can be traced if it's stolen, but you don't have to register your AR-15 in case THAT'S stolen. Neither your Chevy, or your AK-47 are mentioned in the US Constitution - they didn't exist when the Constitution was being written. So don't claim "rights" over something that didn't even exist 200+ years ago - it's silly. If you can live with you! r car being regulated, don't holler when people want to put controls on! another dangerous weapon....Show more

Adan Alipio: Obama's beloved Reverend Wright said the US gov't created AIDS and targeted it at African Americans. Right?

Dalia Causby: A car isn't a right. There isn't a contingent in Congress actively out there to ban sports cars because they go too fast.

Dawn Saha: Owning a car is a right, the constitution can't possibly list all off the rights of citizens. A registry of guns would benefit gun owners more than anyone else, a stolen gun can be sold anywhere without question if it were registered this would not be the case. Her point is that just because ownership of cars is regulated doesn't automatically mean that the government is going to take our cars away.

Providencia Jalbert: Driving is a privilege, owning a gun is a right. It has nothing to do with fear, and everything to do with a desire for privacy. Just because one has nothing to hide doesn't mean that they should put everything on display for eve! ryone to see.

Ofelia Kieck: you only want that to happen because you hate the fact he does such a great job of making fun of Trump on SNL

Wilfredo Muldoon: Since when is owning a car a right? Would you be happy to have a background check and id to vote or would that interfere with your right to vote?

Warren Kotter: This apples and oranges argument/question was brought to you by our public education system and it's apparent inability to teach critical thinking.

Malcom Bourek: Really? There's a federal car registry now?Because that is what people are opposed to, not individual state registries (which already exist)....Show more

Rona Espalin: Car are confiscated all the time, in fact if you look around you’ll find government and private auctions of confiscated cars. The main reason you register your car is to pay TAX, you don’t have to register your car at all, but you can’t drive it on PUBLIC roads unless you register it. You can drive it on! private road and never register it at all. But as others have pointed ! out that gun confiscation is already happened in NY, and in Califorina. In California they are using the registration list to track down people who at time register a gun, but for some reason can no longer own one. The police show up at their door, talk their way into the home and search for guns. How did they know where to go, the registration list.“BQ: Gun owners should not fear having their guns registered, they have nothing to hide, right?”So you wouldn’t have a problem with the police coming to your home and searching your house or your person right, after all you have nothing to hide. Oh wait you say it’s against the Constitution, unreasonable search, but why should you mind, you have nothing to hide. @Sir Studley Smugley the RIGHT to bear arms is in the Constitution, or didn’t you bother to read it. Just because it didn’t say AK-47 doesn’t mean it isn’t protected. Just like photographs aren’t mentioned in the Constitution but are still covered by! the 1st amendment. So please read the Constitution before you try and talk about it, it’s really not that hard of a read and not even that long....Show more

Lorine Helwick: Blacks are threatening violence and mayhem if Zimmerman is aquitted and SILENCE from the left. They are fanning the flames of violence by their silence!Busting out all over: Black mob violence Welcome to the new normal: Large-scale black mob violence is busting out in Philadelphia, Chicago, Utica, Jacksonville, St. Louis, Wilmington (Delaware), Greenville (South Carolina), Grand Rapids, Peoria, Springfield (Ohio), Newark, Boston and Brooklyn....Show more

Booker Moros: Oh, so you are saying that gun registration never leads to Confiscation?Check out the link. It's happened in Canada, Great Britain, Australia, California and New York City. And uh, yes, we fear registration because we don't want our guns to be confiscated. But let's flip this. What good will gun registration do? Will it s! omehow magically reduce gun violence? I don't see any good reason to h! ave gun registration....Show more

Stanton Degregorio: Oh I hope so, he's one pr1ck I would love to see squirm..

Marylee Lucks: They don't want to combat it and will probably view it as righteous indignation which is legitimate. It's what Community Organizers do. While we are attacking each other, we aren't paying attention to what his administration is really up to.

Blythe Noreiga: Get caught 4 times doing 35 mph over the speed limit and try reapplying for your drivers license. Sure no one was hurt, no damage was done but "it could have".I also could have stolen an extra cookie out of the jar and shorted one member of the family his alloted treat. Throw the key away.........Yes. Registration leads to confiscation. End of story. So hows that veteran Brandon Raub doing?*I swear, some of you kids need to be put over my knee and have have gaddammed sense beat into you....Show more

Samara Siewers: So now you want to attach an 8 inch by 15 inch license pla! te to every handgun so witnesses can identify the gun?Hmm, that might work. Lets make sure every law enforcement officer has one.LOL - Now that's nuts.

Ruthe Real: You can print guns now. It's game over for gun control.

Antwan Schrum: It's not confiscation I'm worried about. It's the fees and licences I'm concerned with.In Ohio, a vanity plate costs $50.00 to renew that plate costs you $50.00.I refuse to pay the state money to exercise a constitutional right like owning a firearm.

Denna Prudente: How does your owning a vehicle threaten government or defend yourself against government intrusion or tyranny? It doesn't.Gun registration is one giant list of individuals capable of defending themselves. So really, why does the federal government need these at all? Its not about being stolen... Insurance can keep that information and relay to police if need be. Stolen guns can be sold, registered or not. Serial numbers can be removed or altered. Why are some so na! ive as to think a registered gun cant be sold?...Show more

Rheba ! Cockman: i read once, that nagin, the sonofabitch mayor from nola said that about aids also. he and farakahn also said bush blew up the leveys with the corps of engineers to purposely flood the 9th ward to get rid of the blacks

Lulu Bukowiecki: The government can create AIDs all they want but the way it is almost always spread is engaging in homosexuality, sharing needles and risky sexual behavior like using prostitutes, multiple partners and such. You don't want to risk getting AIDs stay in a monogamous heterosexual relationship and live a decent life.If you cannot control yourself............well too bad....Show more
