Where there any years that no cars were made?

Augustus Sarria: Nope. There were years where car factories were retooled to make airplanes and tanks, etc. A few cars were still being made, especially if you include Jeeps.

Donnell Nocella: No Cars were made before the birth of christ, I am sure

Sheron Perrez: There were no cars made in 1984, but Big Brother's reports said otherwise. Matter of fact, we exceeded our goals! Let us increase production! Death to Goldstein!

Lupe Sancen: 2012

Brice Greczkowski: The first invented ancient car / ancient form of transportation was the car of wheel by the Sumerian which was before Eve and Adam's era. If your father asked you about the era were there no cars made yet, yes, there were. But, if you're referring to more advanced cars like automobiles using gas, electricity or steam engines, read this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_automo...

Amada Greising: I'd say prior to 1880s there would have been no cars made. Every year a! fter that, even a the height of WWII there were new cars being made, just far fewer of them and most for military use

Armando Somes: 1939-1946 the car factories were kinda busy with other orders.......not to say there were zero nilch nada made, but the % was probably 5% or less of pre-war orders...

Bennie Lantgen: January 1942 to early 1945
