It sounds like he has an upper respiratory infection. Never let a guinea pig go that long with out eating before you take them to a vet. Just a few hours with out food is very hard on guinea pigs and can lead to their death. Guinea pigs are prey animals ! and will hide the fact they are ill until they are in the acute stage, so at the first sigh of illness we must get them to a vet for intervention or it may be to late. Not eating, or being active are both signs of serious illness. Your guinea pig will probably need to be hydrated along with being put on medications. Please ask the vet for Critical Care. It is a powered formula for sick and thin guinea pigs that is fed with a syringe. It will greatly help in its recovery. Some guinea pigs like it so much they will eat it off a spoon or a small plate set in their cage. I had a very ill guinea pig that could not eat for 14 days and I was able to keep her alive by feeding her the Critical Care. She really looked forward to her feedings, and would no run away form me when it was time to pick her up and fed her, she would raise her tummy off the cage so I could get my hand under her to pick her up. After 14 days when she was able to eat again the silly girl would move away when i! went to get her for a feeding, it was easy to tell she was well and re! ady to eat on her own again....
